Medium Risk Confined Space Course

Description

Our entry into Medium Risk Confined Spaces course is a one-day course taught in our purpose built confined space training environment and includes the use of Breathing Apparatus. The course will go through the correct entry, evacuation and rescue techniques. Also including the risks associated with confined space environments, looking into past scenarios, understanding what went wrong and learning how to navigate confined spaces effectively. Once candidates understand legislation, how to navigate confined space correctly and efficiently, they will then complete the confined space ‘rat run’ giving a feel for a life like scenario, ensuring that you are competent within your training.

On completion of the training candidates will:

• Be able to choose correct selection, fitting, use and inspection of breathing apparatus and personal protective equipment, required.
• Know safe entry and exit procedures for confined spaces.
• Understand requirements for medium-risk confined spaces.
• have knowledge of reducing risks associated with medium risk confined spaces.
• Receive a Confined Space – Working in Medium Risk (inc breathing apparatus) certification.

Certification is valid for 3 years from date of training.
